2012 Summer Reading List
Last November I set a goal to read 52 books in a year. That’s quite a reading list. For those of you scoring at home, that’s one book per week. I’ve got a long way to go to finish, but am pleased that I’ve read all or parts of around 35 books so far. I heard Steven Furtick say one time not to worry about finishing a book, but be more concerned getting something out of it. You may read 10 pages of a book and get the nudge, thought, or idea God intended. BTW, I read his book, Sun Stand Still
First Day of Summer Vacation
Today is the first day of summer vacation. My girls just finished second grade. I know there’s an age where “sleeping in” becomes the cool thing to do, but I guess my kids aren’t concerned with being cool. They were up at the usual time of 6:50 am this morning.
