The Techology Show
Interview with Mark Batterson

Last week, I had the opportunity to attend the Wesleyan Gathering. I was more than excited for this event because one of my heroes, Mark Batterson, was the speaker for the final night. He is the pastor of National Community Church in Washington, D.C. and his book In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day was the inspiration for this site in 2009. I got the opportunity to meet him, and share my story with him. I told him,”I’m the Chase Your Lion guy.” His response,”Dude, that’s awesome. Let’s get a picture.” Sometimes, you meet people you look up to only to be disappointed. Not this time. Mark was humble and gracious and he signed books and spent time with numerous people. The highlight was getting the opportunity to interview him for the Techology Show. His new book, Soulprint: Discovering Your Divine Destiny
comes out January 18.
